Scope
These terms apply to use of SmartTools (paid tools at /smarttools/) and ToolDocs (free articles and tools at /tooldocs/). Marketing pages (Home, About, AI Document Assistant, Contact) are informational and have no transactional terms.
SmartTools — paid tools
You pay a one-time fee to receive a single-purpose tool output. Output is delivered immediately after successful Stripe payment. See the refund policy.
ToolDocs — free content
ToolDocs articles and free tools are provided at no charge and supported by display advertising. You agree not to scrape or systematically download ToolDocs content for redistribution.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Both SmartTools output and ToolDocs articles are generated, in whole or in part, by automated language models. Generated content is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Do not act on output without independent professional review where stakes warrant it.
No warranty
Output and content are provided "as is" with no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Use at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
For SmartTools purchases, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific tool output in question. For ToolDocs (free) content, no monetary liability arises from use.
Acceptable use
- No automated scraping at volumes that affect site performance.
- No submitting illegal, infringing, or harassing content to any tool.
- No attempting to extract API credentials or bypass paid-tool gating.
Custom engagements
Terms for the AI Document Assistant and other custom delivery engagements are set out in the contract for that engagement (typically the Upwork or direct service agreement) — not these terms.
Changes
These terms may change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
